[GRP Row]: Jacob Plihal Wins Lotman Challenge
GRPer Jacob Plihal took the Lotman Challenge victory on the Cooper River, NJ. Jacob finished second in the 650 meter time trial, less than 0.1 seconds back. The top four from the time trial moved on to the final. Ezra Carlson finished the time trial in 7th, while in the women’s race Grace Joyce was 5th and Emily Delleman 6th.
Jacob then rowed to an impressive victory in the 750 meter head-to-head, four across, final. He finished in just under 2 minutes and 44 seconds.
The Cedar Sprig rowers now travel to Princeton, NJ for the Pan American Games trials and the fall speed order. Races are November 9-12.
