[GRP Row]: Tuxedo 1886 Regatta

Ezra Carlson, Grace Joyce, Jacob Plihal, and Sera Busse raced at the first ever Tuxedo 1886 Regatta in Tuxedo Park, New York on October 9th. The invitational regatta was set up as a one-on-one knockout style competition with 8 people rowing in each bracket - men’s and women’s. Each race was just under 2k. Starting with heats, winners moved to semifinals, and then to finals.

Jacob and Ezra drew the same heat with Ezra winning that teammate matchup to start the day. Ezra went on to win his next two races to take the overall victory.

Grace and Sera both won their heats and met in the semifinals. Grace won that matchup and then followed it up with another win in the championship.
