John Graves set to race 2021 Final Olympic Qualification Regatta
The 2021 Final Olympic Qualification Regatta (FOQR) in Lucerne, Switzerland, begins tomorrow May 15th! This is the final chance for the Green Racing Project’s alum John Graves to race for a spot in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
Back in February John earned his spot to represent the United States as the Men’s single (1x) at the 2021 U.S. Olympic Trials in Sarasota Florida. John won that regatta and has been training to race the FOQR.
The draw for lanes took place today. Here is where you can find tomorrow’s heat sheet. John will be racing in heat 4, lane 1 at 12:14 CET. The winner of the heat will go straight to semifinals and the rest go to the repechage.
