GRP Headed to Olympic Trials Finals

Today was the Semifinals at Nathan Benderson Park, in Sarasota Florida, and the GRP has quite a few boats headed into Friday’s Finals!

John Graves, Lucas Bellows, Kevin Meador (rowing under Riverside), Jacob Plihal/ Mark Couwenhoven, and Grace Joyce/ Christine Cavallo, all advanced out of their semifinals and are headed to Finals tomorrow, starting at 8:30am ET.

    Jen Forbes and William Legenzowski both didn’t make it out of their Semifinals, but both earned an opportunity to race that afternoon in the B Final. Jen placed third in her B Final, only 2 seconds away from first place, and 1 second away from second place. And Will came away with a win in his B Final. 

Tomorrow’s Olympic Trial Finals begins at 8:30 am ET, with the Women’s A final.

Men’s 2x Finals 8:50am:
