Elaine “Lanie” Tierney (stroke) and Emily “Em” Mollins will be looking to advance straight to the A Final from their heat tomorrow morning. These two have been demonstrating amazing speed all summer and showed a dominant performance at U23 Trials to take the spot as the BLW2x for the USA. Their event includes some impressive international competition, and they will get to battle it out with the women from Italy, Turkey, Poland, and Switzerland in their heat tomorrow. Their race begins at 4:40 AM EST and the progression will see the top two crews advance to the A Final with the rest of the crews going to the repechage to compete for a spot in the final again.

The live stream to watch the racing can be found here. For the rest of the crews racing later in the week and their results, please continue to check the GRP News, the GRP Facebook page, or the GRP Instagram account for updates! Go Sprigs!
