Caitlin Patterson begins 10 Day Tour De Ski

Caitlin Patterson’s New Year will begin with a bang in 2021 as she embarks on the FIS Tour de Ski. This series of cross country ski races is modeled after the Tour de France. The series features 8 races, in Switzerland and Italy.

 Athletes race for top finishes on each race day, and for places in the overall Tour De Ski rankings. The event includes the usual mix of skate, classic, sprint and distance racing, but ends with a one-of-a-kind pursuit start hill climb up and alpine ski slope. 

Caitlin will be among a strong US team and is one of only 11 American athletes who have the opportunity to take on the event this year.
