Caitlin Patterson and Adam Martin Contest Davos Distance Races

GRP skiers Caitlin Patterson and Adam Martin both contested the FIS Cross Country World Cup distance races in Davos, Switzerland. Caitlin raced 10km Freestyle (skate) and Adam used the same technique over 15km. 

Caitlin began the day with bib number 37 and started strong, earning the 20th ranking at the first time check. Patterson continued to push hard through the race but fell to 26th place at the halfway point of the race. Caitlin ended her race in 30th place, 5th among the 6 person US women’s team. 

Adam Martin gradually improved his ranking through the race. Martin clocked the 49th fastest time at the first intermediate and continued to move up as the race progressed. Adam rose as high as 41st, before fading a bit near the finish to end the day in 44th place.
