[GRP Row] World Championships

Green Racing Project athletes wrapped up competition at the World Rowing Championships in Račice, Czech Republic this past weekend.

James Plihal represented Team USA in the bow seat of the Men’s Quadruple Sculls (M4x). The quad placed 5th in their heat, 5th in repechage (0.26 seconds behind NZ), and 2nd in the C Final (0.3 seconds behind Belgium).

Erin Boxberger rowed in the three seat in Team USA’s Women’s Four (W4-). They placed 5th in their heat, 3rd in repechage, 6th in their semifinal, and 6th in the B Final.

Emily Delleman and Grace Joyce competed in the Women’s Quadruple Sculls (W4x). Grace, originally an alternate, was added into the boat after the heat. The quad was 3rd in their heat, 4th in their semifinal, and 3rd in the B Final.

Both Grace and Ezra Carlson also represented the USA and GRP in the spares race before the official racing began.
