Video Challenge
Calling all women’s training groups! Summer is here and it’s time to show off your rollerski tan lines, beach muscles, and hardcore and fun training. The US Women’s Ski Team is organizing a video challenge with hopes of promoting and connecting women’s training groups throughout the country. In the next month we are asking every team, club, camp, or other group of girls to submit a short and fun training video. Check out the video that our team made during our camp in Bend and can be used as a guide.

Entry deadline: July 15, 2011
The U.S. Ski Team women are inviting women’s cross country ski teams and summer training groups
throughout North America to participate in a video challenge. Rally your team, training group, or
summer training camp and send in a video of your summer training experience!
Goals:
• Bring together all women ski training in North America for one project
• Emphasize the importance of group training sessions
• Celebrate and generate awareness of the number of women training in North America
• Take a step back to remember what is fun about skiing for you and your team
Video Requirements:
• 3 minutes in length
• Include a brief introduction to the team or training group
• Video should show your group training together
• Humor and hardcore training are encouraged!
• The color pink is recommended

To submit your video, upload it to www.youtube.com and title your video “U.S. Ski Team Women’s
Video Challenge – (team/group name)”, and send the link and a brief description of your training

. All videos must be
submitted by July 15

. The online video festival will begin on July 20
th
. All videos will be featured on
the USSA Nordic Facebook channel.
Prizes will be awarded.
