Mid-Week Weekend

In most people’s lives, the weekend is fundamentally different from the week.  In my life, this isn’t really the case.  That’s partly because we train every day so no days are really always off, and partly because I never work, so no days are really “on” either.  It’s kind of cool, but I rarely know the day of the week.

This also mean I can go somewhere for a couple days at any time of the week.  I was lucky last week because one of my good friends from college is at home in New Hampshire while he’s in between jobs.  So I went to visit him last Monday morning, and came back on Wednesday.  We kept on calling it a weekend, by accident.  Not sure if that’s because we didn’t know, or because it felt like a weekend.

Anyways, hanging out with Will made me realize that there’s a lot of people connected to skiing that aren’t too well known and probably should be.  I know a few of these people.  Most are boys.  So with all that in mind, I’m now going to present all the readers of this blog with:

Green Skiing’s Most Eligible Batchelors, Volume 1: Will Tyson

Will is an almost 6 foot, 165 pound blond heartbreaker.  His greatest feature is his hair, which is long and blond and has tons of volume.  It’s awesome and all the ladies always love it.  He isn’t afraid to work it either, and once even had a rat-tail for a full semester.

He grew up in southwestern New Hampshire and went to Colby, and he’s now onto some bigger stuff.  After spending 5 months working in Wyoming, he’s back home until early January, when he moves out to Idaho to work in the backcountry tracking wolverines.  Seriously.  Wolverines.

He’s quite a catch, and he knows it.  But he won’t show it off.  And that’s why he deserves this.  There’s so much about him that any lady can enjoy, and that’s where I come in.  Here’s a few things you should know, and if any of this (or all of this) interests you, just let me know at matthew.todd.briggs@gmail.com.

He plays the guitar, piano, and sings.  And he does it all really well.

He only wears fitted collared shirts and his nicest pair of dress pants are khaki colored Carhartts.

He only shampoos every once in a few months, and when he does, it’s Herbal Essence Body Envy.

He runs and bikes and climbs rocks.  And if you want him to, he’ll dust off the rollerskis and get out there.  He even joined me for intervals.

He’s a dirty soccer player.

He’s of the best dancers you’ll ever meet, and that’s one thing he’ll never hesitate to show off.  His favorite songs are Love Song by Sara Bareilles and anything by the police.

He’s got more than his fair share of wristwatches, trash bags, and brains.

And most important of all, he’s single.  And looking.

You’re welcome.  If you need any more convincing, see the pictures below.
